Please provide your Soukup plumber with the following information upon his arrival: 

• Exact problem
• Additional damage, if any
• Location of main water valve and/or fuse box 
  
• Make and model of equipment, if needed and available.
  

At the repair site, if there are items that might be affected or damaged during the course of repair, we recommend that you remove or cover them.  To protect your home, our plumbers will wear shoe covers and use dropcloths.

 If your main water valve has to be shut off for a period of time: 

• Consider collecting a supply of tap water or purchasing water prior to the repair for drinking and cooking. 
• The water in the pipes may also carry rust-colored residue after the valve has been reopened. 
• Before doing laundry, consider running your washer for an entire cycle to avoid any stains to clothing.
